Basketball: "I couldn't catch ... in the first half"

Kamilah Martin scored a whopping 27 of the University of Hawaii women's basketball team's 65 points in last night's win against Long Beach State. She made sure to credit her teammates ("Martin does it all in Wahine win"):
"I couldn't catch … in the first half," Martin said with a laugh. "(My teammates) kept me focused and kept saying, ‘We're going to pass it to you.' So I just have to thank my teammates to have the trust in me to keep passing it to me."
Here is video! And, because I can, here is her pre-taped intro.

  2. Just when Hawaii returns to the Big West, Kathy Gregory retires. Damn it all. Watching her, Shoji, and Gimmillaro were always a treat. Thanks for your years, ma'am. You will be missed.
