Time to get to know the University of Hawaii women's basketball team. Blah blah blah basketball; let's talk academics instead! According to one of you, Laura Beeman tweeted that the team posted a 3.18 fall semester grade point average. Below is everything academic from the player bios.
#00 Stephanie Ricketts is a fifth-year senior. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and is currently in the master of nursing program. She was a four-time WAC All-Academic honoree and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In high school, she was an honor-roll student three years.
#2 Sydney Haydel is a junior. She earned WAC All-Academic honors her freshman and sophomore season.
#3 Marissa Wimbley is a freshman. In high school, she received an academic scholar athlete award two consecutive years and her school's "Eagle Award" which recognizes the top 15 students in the senior class. She plans to major in sports medicine.
#5 Kamilah Martin is a junior. She earned WAC All-Academic honors her freshman and sophomore season. She is majoring in family resources.
#10 Monica DeAngelis is a fifth year senior. She has a bachelor's degree and is currently enrolled as a graduate student in educational administration. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honors Society.
#15 Kanisha Bello is a redshirt junior. She earned WAC All-Academic honors her freshman season. In high school, she was a Dean's List honoree for three years. She intends to major in animal science.

DeleteMarissa is a kinesiology major. Had autograh session on Jan 9, next ones are Jan 13, 26, Feb 16 and Mar 9(senior night). Softball has a match on Wahine BB senior night, so I thinking the softball team will come for that.

DeleteActually booster club newsletter has kinesiology and website has sports medicine, so not sure.
